Why this date matters

Red Rocks is the show on this tour that isn’t interchangeable with any other. Myers headlines it at 19, on his third headline run, roughly three years after a TikTok clip of “Tie That Binds” put him in front of an audience for the first time. When The Legal Tour was announced in March 2026, three venues were named specifically in the announcement copy — The Rooftop at Pier 17 in New York, Moody Center in Austin, and Red Rocks. Two of those three are still ahead of him on this schedule.

The room is also a genuine test in a way an amphitheater booking usually isn’t. Red Rocks seats an audience on wooden benches carved between two 300-foot sandstone monoliths at 6,400 feet, with no roof and no production shortcuts available. A live reputation built on crowd singalongs — which is what the tour was announced on — either works in that space or doesn’t. Most artists who play it describe it as the hardest ticket on a routing to feel casual about.

Practically, it’s the last of a three-night Colorado stretch: Grand Junction on August 28, Colorado Springs on the 29th, Morrison on the 30th. A Sunday night, which is unusual for a marquee date, and the end of the tour’s August leg before it resumes in Lincoln on September 4.

Venue guide: Red Rocks Amphitheatre

Red Rocks is owned and operated by the City and County of Denver, in Red Rocks Park near Morrison, about 15 miles west of downtown Denver. The concert season runs March through November — an outdoor venue at this elevation can’t do more — and AXS is the ticketing provider for it and other City of Denver venues.

Capacity is commonly cited at 9,525, and we’re flagging that as unconfirmed here because the venue’s own visitor pages don’t state a figure; it comes from third-party references. What the venue does confirm is more useful for planning anyway: all seating is wooden bench with concrete walkways, wheelchair-accessible seating is in row 1 and row 70 with folding chairs provided, and every possession you bring has to fit in an 18“ × 12“ space under your seat.

Two ticketing details specific to this Red Rocks date. Tickets in rows 1–4 are non-transferable and must be used by the original purchaser, who has to arrive with the entire ticketed party; promoters can extend that restriction beyond row 4 show by show. Separately, the venue’s own listing for this show states an eight-ticket-per-household limit, and warns that orders exceeding it may be cancelled without notification — worth knowing if you’re organising a larger group, because splitting across billing addresses is the difference between attending and being refunded a week out.

Because this is a 7:30 PM start with 6:00 PM doors and two support acts, Myers himself should be on stage somewhere around 9:00 to 9:30 PM. On the one date this tour has a fully timestamped record for, his headline set ran about 90 minutes. Red Rocks also has a hard operational reality other rooms don’t: the walk from the upper lots down to the seats is long and steep at 6,400 feet, so “doors at 6:00” and “in your seat at 6:00” are not the same instruction.

Bag policy — the strictest on this tour

Red Rocks recently tightened this, and it’s the single most common reason people get turned around at the gate. Multi-pocket bags are not permitted at all, regardless of size.

Prohibited, and this list is longer than most: multi-pocket bags, any bag over 13“ × 15“ × 8“, glass, aluminum cans, umbrellas, aerosols including sunscreen sprays, hard-sided coolers, laptops and tablets, cameras with removable lenses, GoPros and audio/video recorders, selfie sticks, totems, strollers of any kind, laser pointers, confetti and glitter, stickers, inflatables, bubbles, gum, tarps, yoga mats, and animals other than ADA service animals — emotional support and therapy animals are explicitly excluded.

Getting there, parking, and the walk back

Parking is included in the ticket price for most shows, with no day-of fee at the venue. Lots open two hours before doors — so from roughly 4:00 PM for a 6:00 PM door.

The part worth planning around is the end of the night. Rideshare, taxi, and private pickup all happen in the Jurassic Lot, and only there — just inside Entrance 2 off Highway 93, about a mile from the South Gate. The recommended walking route is the Will Call Trail across from the Trading Post and down Red Rocks Park Road. Complimentary shuttles run from the Top Circle Lot and Trading Post to the Jurassic Lot after shows, but the venue itself advises walking because the shuttle loop takes longer.

Drop-off before the show is easier and closer: Top Circle Lot via Entrance 1, or the Red Rocks Park Road / Trading Post Road intersection via Entrance 2. Accessible drop-off requiring the shuttle is Upper South Lot via Entrance 3.

If you arrive late enough to be sent to overflow, that’s the Jurassic Lot too — a mile out. Arriving in the first hour after lots open is the single highest-value decision for this show.

Tailgating is permitted, confined to the rear of your vehicle, with no amplified sound, tents, canopies, or generators. Full-strength beer and wine are allowed in the lots and park, but not in glass. Small gas grills are allowed absent a fire ban; charcoal and open flame are not.

Altitude, weather, and what that actually means on August 30

At 6,400 feet, the climb from the lower lots to the upper rows is real exercise, and the venue’s own guidance warns that routes from parking may be uphill and partly unpaved. Comfortable shoes matter here more than at any other stop on this tour.

Sunset in the Denver area on August 30 falls around 7:40 PM, so with a 7:30 PM start almost the whole show is after dark. A 90°F afternoon can become a genuinely cold, wind-exposed evening at that elevation — and umbrellas are prohibited, so wet weather means a poncho or shell or nothing. Two more things the venue states plainly: no re-entry once your ticket is scanned, except for weather or medical emergencies; and all marijuana products are prohibited on site despite Colorado’s recreational laws, because public consumption remains illegal.
